About the Course:
We are wrapping up our series of eleven webinars on family violence with a look at where we are and where we are going. Since the series launched in March 2022, 37 speakers have shared their expertise on multiple aspects of this challenging topic. For this, the final webinar, four distinguished speakers will explore Where We Are Now and Future Directions.
Justice Sheilah Martin of the Supreme Court of Canada will provide opening remarks. The Honourable Donna Martinson, Professor Jennifer Koshan, and Professor Michaela Keet will continue the discussion with topics including children in the family justice system, tools for debunking myths, and recent research on mediation in cases involving family violence. Join us for a thoughtful and thought-provoking webinar to conclude this important series.
