ABOUT THE COURSE:
Consents in Child, Family and Community Service Act (CFCSA) proceedings (aka child protection/child welfare/family policing) can be both powerful and risky. Join Stephanie Hodgson (she/they/Ms.) and Isaac Hill (he/him/Mr.) for this webinar as they examine the implications to your clients of consents in the child protection process — including s. 60 Written Consents —from early stages through to resolution. Learn strategies to assess consent requests, recognize potential coercion and risks, and safeguard client rights. Participants will come away with practical tools to anticipate evidentiary risks and navigate consent issues with confidence in child protection matters.
