Presented by Rebecca McConchie & Rebecca Robb
12:35 - 1:35 pm (1 CPD Credit)
About the Course:
This session will provide attendees with guidelines for communicating with a witness they are considering retaining or have retained as an expert. This is a critically important aspect of expert evidence that is sometimes overlooked by defence counsel, to their client's detriment. The nature of counsel's communications with a defence expert, the information they provide to the expert, and the specific questions they pose to the expert can bolster or undermine the expert's credibility and the reliability of their opinion. Attendees to this webinar will learn what they need to be aware of and how to avoid pitfalls that can derail their presentation of expert evidence.
