Presented by Sheryl Thompson, MACP, RRP, RCC

Deciding when and if to introduce a vocational assessment to a case can be challenging.  At face value concerns related to employment may seem obvious and straightforward.  However, loss of opportunity, limitations for retraining, loss of vocational capacity, and loss of industry reputation are also important to consider when painting a client’s complete vocational picture.  This seminar will provide attendees with greater understanding of the purpose of a vocational assessment, the vocational assessment process, the contents of the expert report including vocational considerations, and when and if to invite a vocational expert on to the case.  The benefits of early intervention through vocational rehabilitation initiatives will also be briefly explored.
