Register now!

The first part of the program concentrates on pre-trial steps.  Faculty will focus on how to identify the priorities of clients, potential claims, remedies, and sources of proof. You will hear insights on how to make the most of judicial case management, and when to bring interlocutory applications.

The second part of the program concentrates on trial advocacy. Faculty will focus on practical solutions to challenges that litigators encounter in the presentation of the case. They will discuss how to frame a persuasive case, prepare for and conduct forceful direct and cross examinations, make and handle objections, and how to successfully introduce evidence.

Additionally, the efforts of the Courts to modernize as a result of COVID-19 means that all participants in the legal system must turn their attention to how modern technology can be used to advance cases. Faculty will address how technology can be integrated into each phase of litigation, and specific topics are dedicated to e-discovery, virtual advocacy, and the modernization project generally.
